Grab Buckets & Grab Bucket Cranes
HEBENKRAFT designed and manufactured a 7.5 Ton EOT Four-Rope Grab Bucket Crane equipped with a 3 Cu.M clamshell-type, four-rope operated mechanical grab bucket for handling materials with high bulk density. The crane is installed at a reputed PIP Steel Plant in Goa for slag removal from the Slag Granulation Pit (SGP), where hot wet slag is efficiently handled and loaded into dumpers. This type of grab crane is ideally suited for handling materials that cannot be managed using conventional ‘C’ hook cranes.

Launching Systems for Pre-Cast Girders Type I
HEBENKRAFT designed, manufactured, and supplied a 100 Ton × 17.5 m Gantry Crane with an integrated I-Casting Girder Launching System for M/s Amrutha Constructions Pvt. Ltd., Karnataka (2024). The scope of supply included a 100 Ton gantry crane, a spreader beam for lifting I-casting girders, two separate 50 + 50 MT I-girder casting transport trolleys, two auto-launching trolleys, two hoisting trolleys, and associated structural trusses.The launching operation was successfully executed at Hosadurga, Karnataka, across a river span of approximately 1 km. The system was designed to ensure safe and controlled movement of girders from the casting yard to the launching position. Girders were first lifted using the gantry crane and spreader beam, transferred via transport trolleys, and then positioned accurately using auto-launching and hoisting trolleys, enabling precise placement over the river span. The entire launching process was carried out smoothly, ensuring alignment accuracy, operational safety, and efficiency throughout the bridge construction project.

Launching Systems for Pre-Cast Girders Type II
Below is a river bridge being built in Gujarat with the I-Girder Launching methodologyIn River Bridge building applications at the launching location HEBENKRAFT provides steel fabricated Launching Truss which is generally 1.6 to 2 times the span length. On the top portion of the truss Hoisting Trolleys which can also be called Launching Trolleys are provided to lift the pre-cast girders. The front side of the truss is projected over the water area and its front portion is rested on the pier top. The Hoisting Trolleys travel on the top of the truss and take the pre-cast girder ahead over the water area towards the piers for launching. The girder is then counter balanced and lowered on the piers with due respects to the alignment and centre distances required. The side shifting is done manually through a hydraulic system. After launching a particular span, we provide an Auto launching system for the entire truss to travel on the launched girders and move forward towards the next consecutive span to be launched. The launching cycle gets repeated till completion of launching of all the spans. The bride building project can be executed speedily compared to the conventional systems due to the automated and motorized system provided. Launching Systems for Pre-Cast Girders Type III
170MT capacity Launching girder system with 85MT each Hoisting trolleys designed, manufactured & supplied by HEBENKRAFT over a river near Kochi in Kerala state. The two trolleys hold the pre-cast I –girder, they travel over the top of the launching truss and take it to the launching location over the bridge piers. The girder is then lowered and mounted on the pier cap. Side shifting manually through a hydraulic system.

Launching Systems for Pre-Cast Girders Type IV
For Segmental Launching HEBENKRAFT provided a 200MT fabricated Launching truss with segment holding trolleys on the top of the truss. The company has supplied Launching Truss with Segment Holding Trolleys on the top. With the help of a heavy duty under-slung electric hoist the segments are lifted and fed to the trolleys which hold the segments with wire ropes. Cable stressing, gluing, fixing, dry matching is done at site. Finally cable staying is done to complete a particular span length. After completion of each segmental span, the truss moves forward to execute the next consecutive span in the launching chain.

Launching Systems for Pre-Cast Girders Type V
Segmental launching was carried out for Delhi Metro Corporation with the equipment designed, manufactured and supplied by HEBENKRAFT Each C segment weight was 50MT. Segment holding trolleys 15 Nos were supplied were mounted on the top of the launching truss. Each top trolley is also motorized to move on the top of the truss. 60MT capacity under slung electric wire rope hoist is provided below the truss to lift each segment and feed it to the trolley above. Then each trolley holds the segments in one span. Thereafter activities of cable stressing, gluing, fixing, dry matching of all segments are done. After completion of one span, the entire truss moves forward through a motorized auto-launching system to follow the similar protocols for the next consecutive span.

The long travel of this crane was 4 Km.Barge UnloadeHEBENKRAFT Grabbing Barge Un-loader is a huge machine used to unload cement clinkers, iron ore and similar type of material from offshore jetty barges or small ships. This un-loader has the capacity to unload 300TPH of material from barges with total material weighing 2500 to 3000Tons per ship. The un-loader has a cantilever luffing boom which luffs up/down and is extended out from the edge of the jetty over the barge or ship. The luffing operation has been provided for negotiating the height of the ship or a barge and for preventing any accidental occurrence of the ship/barge from fouling with the cantilever boom. A high speed travelling grab bucket travels to the end of the cantilever boom. It is then lowered down into the barge to gather the material (clinkers or iron ore) and is then hoisted at high speed. It travels right up to the top of a hopper in which the material gets unloaded when the grab bucket opens. This is a 4 rope operated clamshell type grab bucket and is at par with German design technology.
