Barge Unloader

HEBENKRAFT Grabbing Barge Un-loader is a huge machine used to unload cement clinkers, iron ore and similar type of material from offshore jetty barges or small ships. This un-loader has the capacity to unload 300TPH of material from barges with total material weighing 2500 to 3000Tons per ship. The un-loader has a cantilever luffing boom which luffs up/down and is extended out from the edge of the jetty over the barge or ship. The luffing operation has been provided for negotiating the height of the ship or a barge and for preventing any accidental occurrence of the ship/barge from fouling with the cantilever boom. A high speed travelling grab bucket travels to the end of the cantilever boom. It is then lowered down into the barge to gather the material (clinkers or iron ore) and is then hoisted at high speed. It travels right up to the top of a hopper in which the material gets unloaded when the grab bucket opens. This is a 4 rope operated clamshell type grab bucket and is at par with German design technology.
